Marat is an accomplished legal executive with more than 20 years of experience in corporate, banking, and civil law. He has led legal departments and divisions in major Russian and international banks, overseeing teams of up to 100 professionals and managing complex projects in M&A, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation.


He has played a key role in the integration and reorganization of leading financial institutions, including the mergers of Moscow Industrial Bank, SMP Bank JSC and MOSOBLBANK JSC into Promsvyazbank Group, as well as the merger of VOCBANK JSC with Moscow Industrial Bank. His achievements include overseeing additional share issues worth more than RUB 128 billion, negotiating regulatory agreements with the Bank of Russia, and developing standardized processes that optimized legal functions across multiple institutions.


Earlier in his career, Marat held senior legal positions at Barclays Bank Russia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, where he contributed to drafting government decrees and ministerial regulations. His expertise combines a strong command of Russian legislation with practical knowledge of international legal standards, supported by specialized training in English and American law.


Fluent in Russian and proficient in English, Marat is recognized for his ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks, lead high-performing legal teams, and deliver practical solutions in challenging environments.
